One of the meeting points in summer are in the Gastronomic Fairs, which have life in each of the eight Fisherman’s coves, corresponding to the port of Coquimbo, Peñuelas, Guayacán, Puerto Aldea, Totoralillo, La Herradura, Guanaqueros and Tongoy.

The flavors of Giant Squid, Mackerel, Yellowtail fish, Clam, Roasted Fish, Baked Fish, Oysters, “Sánguche de Pescado”, Crab and Chocha are highlighted in them, with free tastings for the attendees.

Also, “El plato típico de mi caleta” contest is developed, where tourists and outstanding chefs choose the best preparation of each of these sectors.
