Football and athletics stadium with capacity for 18,000 spectators. Its new structure was designed and built in 9 months, in the framework of the FIFA Women’s World Cup U-20 held in 2008.

In 1971, the stadium was named Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso, in honor of an entrepreneur and industrialist who, together with a group of families in the area, founded Coquimbo Unido, around 1958. In recognition of that work, the stadium was baptized years later with his name.

The Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso Stadium is in the El Llano sector of the city of Coquimbo. It provides an important space for the practice of various activities, both sports and artistic recreational, as well as serving as a local field to the Coquimbo Unido Club.

Due to its shape, color, materiality and location it stands out in the urban fabric, which has favored it becoming a symbol of the city. Lately it has had artistic interventions in its walls, which transforms it into a space and tourist attraction of relevance in the city of Coquimbo. You can visit every day.
